Since 1990, Dr. Liza Minovi has been the Washington, D.C., dentist of choice for dental care that is experienced and caring.
A graduate of Georgetown University Dental School, with extensive post-graduate training in diverse areas of dentistry, she has been in practice in D.C. for more than 30 years. As an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry, Dr. Minovi has shaped her practice as an example of the industry’s best practices in dental technology and high service standards, accompanied by a “chairside” manner that makes a visit to the dentist something to smile about.
Dr. Minovi is dedicated to the community’s dental care and health. She regularly offers community service to local schools and charity organizations throughout the Washington Metropolitan area.
Dental Hygienist
Born in Vietnam, Tran was exposed to many different cultures and environments. Relocating to the United States, Tran settled in California, then moved to Kansas, Maryland, and finally Washington D.C. making her adaptable and conversant with people from many different cultures and backgrounds.
As Tran laid out her plans to pursue a dental hygiene career, her move to Maryland allowed her to complete her education with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene from the University of Maryland Baltimore Campus, College of Dental Surgery Dental School. Upon completion of her degree, she was chosen to be part of the Dental Hygiene Admissions Committee, where she spent many hours assisting the committee in selecting new students. Concurrently, she worked at the Greenbaum Cancer Center and The PLUS Clinic in Baltimore, providing comprehensive dental care and educational services for immune and medically compromised patients. Tran is meticulous and diligent in her work and takes pride in delivering excellent oral healthcare to every patient.
Tran is passionate about her work and has devoted herself to motivating and educating her patients to achieve a lifetime of optimal oral health.
Front Administrator
Charde’ has been a Level II Expanded Functions Dental Assistant for the past 8 years. Charde has currently taken on a new role as Front Desk Administrator here at Minovi dental. Charde’ enjoys being an inviting administrator who makes new and existing patients feel educated and cared for through every phone call or visit. Charde’s goals are to finish getting her degree in business management and to become an office manager in the future.
Office Manager
Deon’Shay goes by Shay. She has been a Level II Dental Assistant for 5 years. Her passion is helping people and providing them with stellar service. She plans to be a Hygienist in the future. She is currently the Office Manager of Minovi Dental.
Lead Dental Assistant
Courtney has been assisting dentists for over 5 years. She is a level II Dental Assistant. She is very passionate about dentistry and truly cares for her patients.
